Wednesday, October 29, 2025 | 7:30 – 9:00 AM
The Venue Uptown at the Best Western Plus, 503 Washington Avenue, Kingston, NY
The local Ulster County economy is about to see a massive boost, as the New York City Department of Environmental Protection is set to launch a $1.3 billion construction project at the 110-year-old Ashokan Reservoir.
John Milgrim, Director of External Affairs for the New York City Environmental Protection Bureau of Water Supply will be the featured speaker at the October 29th event at The Venue Uptown at the Best Western Plus, 503 Washington Ave., Kingston. The breakfast Sponsor is the Hudson Valley Credit Union.
Milgrim also intends to highlight the DEP’s economic impact on the region, namely, how the agency directly infuses hundreds of millions of dollars each year to local economies throughout the watershed. “The DEP is the No. 1 taxpayer in Ulster County, paying 100 percent of the assessed value on virtually all land and infrastructure that New York City owns” he said.
The Chamber will also be recognizing our 2025 Corporate Sponsors & Supporters. Plan on joining us as we thank them for their support.
Chamber Breakfast Meetings are a great way to network with other local business leaders and stay on top of current events.
