6th Annual Chocolate Lovers' Social

Please join us for Family of Woodstock's Annual Chocolate Lovers' Social on Sunday, March 19, 2017, 12:00 - 3:00 pm at the fabulous Diamond Mills Hotel & Tavern in Saugerties, NY.

Now in its 6th year, this event has become a wonderful way to escape winter's doldrums. Come out and enjoy the all-new Chocolate Social with a global food experience plus chocolate martinis, a chocolate fountain and decadent chocolate desserts!

Funds raised will go towards programs that serve at-risk youth as well as begin to address a critical issue that is devastating our community - the widespread use of heroin. Too many of our citizens are using this debilitating drug, trying to escape their pain. Our society cannot afford to lose these valuable individuals to overdose and death as a result. We believe that Family can play a critical role, both in preventing this terrible addiction and intervening to help promote recovery. We envision using Family’s walk-in centers throughout the county to provide a safe, confidential access point for community resources, education about recovery, and Narcan, which can sometimes reverse the lethal effects of heroin overdose. We believe that by offering these services, we will help people begin the road to recovery.
