* Richard Kirk Mills: Landscape Still Lives

This new work continues themes of earlier paintings: houses, working landscapes, gardens, the relationship of structure to landscape – and to painting -- and a strong sense of place which has now expanded into the western Catskill Mountains of New York.
The painting process and the process of perception are becoming increasingly more central to this work.
