Mohonk Preserve: Hike with a Naturalist - Exploring Phenology through iNaturalist

Join Mohonk Preserve’s staff for an introduction to becoming a naturalist! In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to use the iNaturalist app to practice plant, animal and fungi identification, while contributing to long-term monitoring efforts of Mohonk Preserve’s flora and fauna. Come along as we take a slow hike and explore the biodiversity the Preserve has to offer. To get the most out of this program, participants are encouraged to download the iNaturalist app prior to attending. Registration is required. This is a free program for ages 8 to adult and children must always be accompanied by a registered adult. Space is limited and registration is required.
